This year for the first time Porec hosts the beloved Wine Festival and from 19 to 29 September Park Olge Ban will become the setting for the presentation of many excellent Istrian, but also Croatian and international wines.
Wine City is a sales open-air wine festival, intended for a wide audience who are not expert in the knowledge of wine and who only want to start discovering them. Wine City wants to bring the culture of wine closer to visitors in a pleasant and relaxed environment.
Entrance to the festival is free, and visitors rent a wine glass for €5 upon arrival, after which at the wine stands they can consume wine by the glass or bottle, all at promotional prices.
In addition to the wine offer, visitors will also be able to enjoy a gastronomic offer such as President cheese, Poli dog and street food creations of Međimurje chicken. Cocktail house by Roto Dinamic and Lillet, offering excellent cocktails and Erdinger, offering beer, will take care of all those who are not into wine. Jukebox.hr is responsible for the good atmosphere every day with background music, while on weekends the DJ will heat up the atmosphere even further.
The opening hours of the festival are from 6 pm to 1 am.
