Once again, Poreč becomes the place to be for all lovers of excellent gastronomy, sport fishing and good time! This year too, the Tunalicious Festival will take place in full splendor and together with the TunIstra – an international big game fishing tournament, brings together the best fishermen and lovers of the sea and adrenaline in September.
For seven days, Poreč will live to the rhythm of tuna, the queen of the Adriatic! While 50 teams will compete in the hunt for the largest tuna, Tunalicious Street Food will be held on the Poreč waterfront, offering a wide selection of tuna dishes and performances by top music artists. During the three evenings of the festival, spectators will be able to watch live the weighing of the daily catch, and on the last evening the official announcement of the winner of the competition will take place.
The gastronomic offer will reach its peak during the Tuna Restaurant Week, during which the best restaurants in Poreč will serve special tuna dishes at promotional prices, and Spinnaker Restaurant will prepare an exclusive fine dining dinner.
September is the perfect time for this festival, because it is precisely in September that capital specimens of tuna appear in Istrian waters and Poreč becomes the center of a unique combination of entertainment, sports and gastronomy.
